I was born and brought up in Newquay. Married and moved to Bodmin in 1972 and to Par in 1989. We have operated our home as a bed and breakfast since 1990.
Elected to Cornwall CC for Bodmin in 1985, Restormel BC for St Blazey 1996, 1999, 2003 and 2007. Cabinet member for Housing and Health 2003 to 2009.
Elected to Cornwall Council new unitary for St Blazey in 2009. Boundary changes for 2013 give me the opportunity to seek support from the residents of Tywardreath Highway, Kilhallon, Penpillick, Porcupine and nearby homes as well as re-election for the heart of St Blazey.
My voluntary work includes Fourways Youth Charity (chair), Burrows Centre Board (chair), Biscovey Infants School Governor, Par Bay Big Local (member), Par Bay Community Trust (member), Cornwall Community Flood Forum (treasurer), St Blazey Reclaimed, Neighbourhood Plan. Member of St Blaise Town Council as well as Tywardreath and Par Parish Council.
Roy and Pat have three great grown up children, five lovely grandchildren, Scooby and Ziggy our dog and cat.
